P. Heezy signs with Lil Weezy

If you were a millionaire heiress who was offered a record label deal with Cash Money Records would you sign on the line?Millionaire-socialite-party girl Paris Hilton did!

Paris Hilton has signed with Cash Money Records and is working on a house music album that will supposedly be released this summer. Paris announced the news to Showbiz411 at a party in Cannes, France. 

Showbiz 411 says that Hilton will join Drake and Nicki Minaj, so it's a little unclear if she's strictly with Cash Money or its younger division Young Money. Either way everyone wins. Hilton also claims Dutch house producer Afrojack is gearing the new project. 

In 2006 she released "Paris" on Heiress records. It reached the top ten on the Billboard albums chart, although it had a lot of mixed reviews. Most recently she dropped a track with Lil Wayne and starred in a Rich Gang music video (Tap Out).

“This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris said. “It’s really going to be house music.”

Only time will tell if Paris will be successful under Cash Money. 

Ciara *New Music*

R&B singer, Ciara has been grinding like some bad break pads the past few months. [Sidenote: I guess having new man will do that to you.] Last week she released the remix to Body Party featuring Atlanta's own B.O.B. and Future (her new main squeeze).

[Side note: I have to admit that she makes the best music when she's in a relationship: Jody Breeze, Bow Wow, Reggie Bush, 50 Cent, Amar'e Stoudemire, and most recently Future. And this is a "read," but She always puts her boyfriends in her music videos. Hopeless romantic? Attention whore? Or just stupid?]

Back to the new music! Ciara has a new song is titled 'I'm Out' featuring Nicki Minaj. From the lyrics it is easy to tell that a lot of shade is being thrown. But mystery behind it all is whether Nicki is jabbing at Mariah Carey, Ciara getting back at Rihanna or both. Nicki starts off by saying, "Aye yo Cici, let me show you how to do a singing b**** greasy." Then later in the track Ciara sings 'You gon’ play me, on Instagram trying to shade me?'

[Side Note: Who said sneak dissing was just for weak rappers?!]

The rest of the song is pretty chilled compared to the punchlines. It basically a 'me and my girls are going to party tonight without thinking about a guy' song.

I'm not sure if this song has what it takes to be a certified banger, but it not a bad track to put on her highly anticipated album.

MiguelMania

Sunday, May 19th, singer Miguel performed his hit song 'Adorn' at the Billboard Music Awards. In the middle of the performance Miguel was thought it be cool to jump from one side of the stage to the other side... with fans in between. Unfortunately, Miguel's jump or landing was not clean, which resulted a leg slam around the neck for a female audience member. Don't believe me, just watch.

 Immediately after his performance Twitter was set ablaze with Miguel jokes, videos, and pictures. 

Even Miguel tweeted a statement. [Sidenote: which has now been deleted]

Billboard caught up with Miguel and the slightly injured, Khyati after the show. 

And there you have it. Khyati still adorns Miguel after he hit her with a professional wrestling move. Speaking of wrestling... Hulk Hogan got in on the Miguel twitter jokes too.

M.J.B. vs. Uncle S.A.M.

Things are not looking too good for the Queen of Hiphop-Soul. She's got No some more Drama in her life. The 411 on Mary J. Blige is that she has not been paying her taxes. After many rumors spread about Mary's financial issues regarding her mortgage, non-profit organization, and the money she received from the infamous Burger King commercial, TMZ reports that she owes for the years 2009 ($574,907.30), 2010 ($2,203,743.53) and 2011 ($647,604.60) totaling $3.4 million! Not to mention she still owes $901,769.65 in back taxes to the state of New Jersey and she allegedly defaulted on a $2.2 million bank loan. 

Poor Mary. It's time to call Diddy to do a few Bad Boy Remixes, world tours and chitlin circuit gigs because I don't think she can pull off bright orange and stripes.

K. Michelle *New Music*

Within the past year K. Michelle has been dropping more mixtapes than Gucci Mane. And now she's officially ready. She’s debut her first studio album! She’s been performing all over the country gearing up for her release. Although, she's the best trash talker south of the Mason Dixon Line and can shake a mean table, I am very excited to hear her new work.

Her first single, ”V.S.O.P”, is an uptempo ballad produced by Pop & Oak. It samples the Debra Laws' 80s hit, ”Very Special.” K. sings a chorus that plays on the Hennessy drink of the same name and it’s all about catering to her man:

BLUE IVY CARTER

Right before the most pregnant talked about women in the country resumed the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Beyonce posted a pic of her daughter in her official mini-me B.I.C. chair.  Now she’s uploaded a pic of B.I.C. in cute ponytails and a tutu skirt taking her place backstage recently.

[Side note: A lot of fans have been complaining about Blue's hair and saying "her parents should do a much better job of combing it, because when it is not combed she looks like a little boy." So now, hopefully, people will take it easy because she's wearing pigtails.]

Kelly Rowland Joins X Factor's Season 3

Kelly Rowland may be airing a lil “Dirty Laundry” right now, but we hear she will definitely have enough coins to clean that dirty laundry thanks to a new gig on the hit show X-Factor. It has been said through the grapevine that Kelly will be replacing Brittany Spears at the judges table for the third season of the show this fall. TMZ reports that the songstress is currently in final negotiations with the X-Factor peeps. We hear that Kelly won’t be going solo, though. Latin singer Paulina Rubio is suppose to be joining the cast as well. 

[Side note: I cannot help but notice American voice competition shows adding hispanic women to the judges panel in recent years (Jennifer Lopez - American Idol; Christina Aguilera & Shakira - The Voice; Paulina Rubio - X Factor).]

Meanwhile back at the ranch, this is a really good look for Kelly. She has been a judge on a few other competition shows [X Factor UK, Clash of the Choirs, Everybody Dance Now Australia] that never really blew up. So with the popularity and success of X Factor, she's bound to flourish as a television personality.
